SEE Results in Sakhuwan Prasauni Remain Weak, Only 98 Students Passed Out of 323

The SEE examination results in Sakhuwan Prasauni Rural Municipality have once again highlighted the weak condition of the education sector. Among the 323 regular students who appeared for the SEE examinations from four secondary schools within the municipality, only 98 students managed to pass.

According to Education Section Chief Bharat Giri, 35 out of 85 students passed from Shree Dipnarayan Adarsha Namuna Secondary School, Auraha Panchgawa. Similarly, 31 out of 85 students passed from Nepal National Secondary School Deurwan, 21 out of 86 from Nepal National Secondary School Mahuwan Parsa, and only 11 out of 67 students passed from Shree Nepal National Secondary School Sierahi.

Compared to last year’s SEE results, there has been some improvement. In 2081 BS, only 11 out of 110 students had passed from Auraha Panchgawa School, 23 out of 98 from Deurwan, 13 out of 127 from Mahuwan, and 10 out of 94 from Sierahi. However, local parents have expressed dissatisfaction, stating that the improvement is still far below expectations.

Education Chief Bharat Giri stated that from the upcoming fiscal year, five tuition centers will be operated in each ward for six months to improve academic performance. He added that stricter educational reform campaigns would be implemented if the results remain disappointing next year as well.

Local residents believe that significant improvement in SEE results will remain difficult unless schools ensure regular teaching, greater teacher accountability, and a better learning environment for students.
