Birgunj, March 21 — A Maha Aarti festival will be आयोजित at the historic and religious Gahawa Mai Temple in Birgunj on the occasion of Ram Navami this year as well.
The event will be held on April 5 to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Ram, known as Ram Navami.
A meeting chaired by Shyam Kumar Pokharel, chairman of the Gahawa Mai Pilgrimage Area Development Committee, decided to organize the grand Maha Aarti at 6 PM in the temple premises.
Like previous years, a subcommittee has been formed under the coordination of Mukesh Kumar Sah to ensure smooth and systematic management of the event.
The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman Dewanand Prasad Kalwar, Secretary Laxmi Narayan Gupta, Treasurer Ravi Shankar Agrawal, and members Dina Prasad Gupta, Sitaram Prasad Upadhyay, Mukesh Prasad Sah, Anup Kumar Agrawal, among others.
